When you connect this TRIPLETT PoE-Bug Power Over Ethernet Detector to RJ45 Ethernet ports, you can safely check for the presence of 802.3af, 802.3at or 5 to 57 VDC power. The plug-and-play tool is also equipped with overload protection to 62 V. Test for the presence of DC power on RJ45 Ethernet ports. The detector is capable of detecting AF, AT and non-standard DC power.
