The SS-705 is an outdoor rated mic level microphone with an omni-directional pickup patter of approximately 12 feet. Housed in a weather resistant enclosure, the SS-705 is suitable for outdoor applications or harsh environments.

The SS-705 does not require external power and is compatible with select IP cameras featuring a mic level audio input.  The microphone includes 40 feet of cable with a 3.5mm plug.  The cable may be connected through either the top or rear of the enclosure via 3/4″ threaded conduit.

The audio stream can be used for alarm verification purposes or evidence collection when reviewing a security event.
