Only the futurists of the 1950s and 1960s could predict that world-changing technologies, such as flying cars and airborne robots will be accessible one day. While the predictions were not right regarding timing, the world-changing technologies are in front of us and ready to change the way we operate.

Robots and flying cars are the reality of our everyday life. All these exciting technology expos just blow us away with their brands’ unexpected looks and functionalities.

In the modern world, you would hardly spot anyone walking down the street, eating, or driving without being on the phone all the time. Checking reviews on Yelp to see where to eat or where to go for entertainment, and using GPS navigation are must-dos for all of us. The internet allows us to do things faster and without having to run around to get things done.

Let’s have a look and find out three amazingly impressive technologies that are changing the world now.

Voice assistance

Voice assistance like Amazon Echo or Google Home has been around for a couple of years now.

On September 2017 Amazon launched its Echo spot (more known as ‘’ Alexa’’) which connects to voice-controlled artificial intelligence voice service.

In the next four years, every American household is expected to have a voice assistance device, which is having a significant influence in the market all over the world.

According to observers, we might communicate through voice rather than text in the future.

The future belongs to robots!

Today robot assistants are largely involved in manufacturing and successfully operating in the real world, most widely in the hospitality industry.

Currently, there are 1.4 million industrial robots operating around the world.  Modern robots can be autonomous or semi-autonomous. Moreover, several million robotic devices are designed for in-home consumer use.

Boston Dynamics is one of the companies successfully producing a wide range of robot assistants to work in factories or on the battlefield. 

Another company called Knightscope is working on a line of robot assistance for security applications, featuring a camera that recognizes 300 license plates per minute.

Autonomous vehicles

Self-driving cars exceeded all the expectations that humankind had regarding the automobile industry.

By 2019 self-driving, wheel-less, and pedal-less cars will be launched by General Motors.

Automakers such as Tesla caused good or bad debates among regular people and observers. In 2018 old, human-driven cars shared their roads with a new technology product, autonomous self-driving cars. Even though self-driving technology is evolving at a high speed, some think they are seemingly too perfect in a negative way.

Another big problem with autonomous technology is that the rise of autonomous technology will mean the loss of some jobs. However, they will also create new job opportunities.

In this never-ending debate on whether these technologies impacted humans and their social interactions in a negative or positive way, one thing is obvious.

These technological products changed the world and if used wisely and appropriately they will not bring isolation and distraction and will only enhance the quality of social life.
