The Alula CONNECT-XT-V is a cellular Verizon LTE alarm communicator designed for existing GE Interlogix Simon alarm panels. The CONNECT-XT-V is part of the Alula Connect product family, this 4G LTE and 5G cellular communicator quickly upgrades old Simon XT, XTi, XTi-5 panels to the Alula interactive experience, adding complete smartphone control for security, video and automation.
Most active Simon XT's are connected through a 3G cellular module installed in the back of the anel. These cellular cards from GE Interlogix and Alarm.com are currently outmoded, destined to go dark as the cellular carriers phase out their old networks. The Connect-XT is a universal, direct replacement for the 3G modules (and is 4G LTE and 5G-compatible) communicating alarm signals in any Simon panel (Simon XT firmware version 1.3 or later, Simon XTi, Simon XTi-5). Finally, you can save your existin Simon panel from the 3G radio communication sunset.
