AVPro Edge AC-AEX-R 100M Uncompressed Audio Receiver

The AC-AEX-R Uncompressed Audio Receiver from AVPro Edge enables integrators to transmit uncompressed audio signals up to 328' meters from the source. It can switch between analog stereo and optical digital signals and can be powered by either USB or an optional power adapter, providing flexibility in power source options.

The AC-AEX-R is compatible with any RJ45 connection using Cat 5e or higher cable. With PoE support, only one side needs to be powered to deliver power to both ends. This receiver is ideal for modern installations where the customer wants to play sound from built-in SmartTV apps and route it back to the head end for whole-home audio distribution.

The AC-AEX-R uses a proprietary interconnect UTP/STP (Unshielded Twisted Pair/Shielded Twisted Pair) cable system with support for PoC (Power over Cable) to provide reliable, high-quality audio transmission and power delivery over a single cable. This cable system is designed specifically for the audio extender, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing the risk of signal loss or interference. Additionally, the UTP/STP cable system with PoC is widely available and cost-effective, making it a convenient and affordable option for users.
